“When we stop caring what people think & start appreciating the power of our provocation of thought,
we can all stand in our truth in service of ourselves & world.”

Special Projects
Baldwin Project
The brainchild of the Middle Voice Theater Company’s mentor, Lucy Thurber, this on-going project that begins with the words of James Baldwin and grows with the conversations between company members and the community around race, class, gender, religion, nationalism, and other current events. We then write pieces inspired by the conversation to present back to the community as a gift and offering for healing.

Rebirth Retreat
Transformation is catalyzed by self-reflection. When we retreat from our routines and environments, deep and honest reflection has space to expand. In this 5-day retreat, in collaboration with Vida Valdes founder of The Almighty Pineapple, we explore the mindsets, practices, and values that aid in our radical self-love and self-centering. What circumstance would you like to challenge yourself to examine in an effort to make new choices and change them? What would it feel like to offer yourself the time, space, and distance to rest, reflect, reset, recharge and be energetically rebirthed into a new paradigm?
